NSW Rebate Information
New South Wales’ Energy Saving Scheme (ESS) is a program designed to incentivise residents to move from older, less energy-efficient hot water systems such as gas or electric, to more efficient systems such as a heat pump. Get all the info you need to see how much you could be eligible for below.
Heat Pump Hot Water Systems
Heat pump hot water systems use around one third of the electricity of an equivalent sized traditional electric unit, and all of the systems which we stock have an in-built timer function. This means you can strategically have your system heating when electricity is cheapest, further increasing your savings.

New Haier 330L heat pump installed at a good price to replace an old gas unit. It runs from our solar system and we have removed the gas connection at the meter, meaning we no longer need to pay for a gas service charge.
The guys turned up on time, had it installed in a few hours and die a nice neat job, and although the unit itself looks a bit like a Dalek it sits behind a fence where nobody will see it.

I highly recommend this organisation. I bought a heat pump water heater to replace gas instant. The whole process took about maybe 2 weeks from first enquiry to installation - amazingly fast! They were very responsive to questions, I was given good advice about available systems (the one I originally wanted was not available), it was a competitive quote and they organised all the rebates so I didnt have to work it out for myself. I am pretty happy with the service of HOT WATER COM AU. From quoting to installation, easy, professional and quick for each step. They don’t charge for quoting and be honest with government rebate that has exhausted at the end of year. Comparing to the other company that I also contacted which charge for quoting and hide the fact that two rebates are available but one exhausted. Change from gas to heat pump water system is much easier than I thought when I chose HOT WATER COM AU to do it for me and price is pretty good as well. Highly recommended!
