Now Stocking the iStore Heat Pump Range
Hotwater.com.au is very happy to announce that we are now stocking the iStore range of heat pump hot water systems! Offering either a 180L model, or a 270L model, we recommend the iStore as a more budget-friendly option instead of some of our more premium heat pump range. While we still advise customers to be wary of some of the dirt-cheap heat pumps being offered on the market, 5 year parts and labour warranty on the tank, refrigeration & electrical (controller & sensor leads) and 1 year on all other parts & labour (updated 2024). This is unmatched at similar price ranges for heat pumps, and after initial testing has received the Hotwater.com.au stamp of approval.
The iStore range has a great temperature operating range (-5 to 43 degrees celcius) & an inbuilt digital display like many other models out there but uses only 470 watts on its heat pump module (or 970 watts on the 270L model) with a 1500 watt back up element to assist outside of these temperature ranges. What this means to you is higher electricity savings! The digital display has your full-timer functionality, and gives you the ability to set the unit to only operate during the cheaper tariffs (if you have time-of-use metering) or when solar PV is generating, as well as vacation, hybrid & eco mode.
